Ephesians 5:27 That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.

I Corinthians 1:11 For it hath been declared unto me of you, my brethren, by them which are of the house of Chloe, that there are contentions among you. Now, this I say, that every one of you saith, I am of Paul; and I of Apollos; and I of Cephas; and I of Christ. Is Christ divided? was Paul crucified for you? or were ye baptized in the name of Paul?

Without disunity Am still talking about disunity. The devil is using this to send many children of God to hell. In Christianity, our disunity is evidenced between denominations; between church leaders; between groups or units in the church; between Pastors and ministers; between workers.

The devil has started using this strategy since the days of the early church. Paul saw it and gave caution to the Corinthians. Paul was amid most contention but he was well guided by the help of the Holy Spirit- between him and Peter, Paul and Apollos, Paul and Barnabas etc. But in all nothing could separate him from the love of Christ.

• Disunity exist in trying to gain relevance. • Disunity exist in trying to gain followership • Disunity exist in trying to prove a point • Disunity exist in trying to gain control by self. • Disunity exist in trying to gain acceptance etc.

We should note that when Love, forgiveness, forbearance, tolerance, are not in place there is bound to be disunity. Are you amid any contention? Do you know any contention going on around you, in your church?

Quench the fire of disunity; quench the fire of contention by LOVE. With LOVE nothing will matter. We will be ready to give up our self for unity. Set your mind, your spirit and your body to align to the part of UNITY attainable by Love.

A Church without lust God speaking through John list three forms of lust to avoid as a Christian. IJohn 3:16 "For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world"

God said this lust is of the world but currently the three are evident in the church.

Lust of the flesh Passion for things that tend to satisfy flesh (fleshly desires). Many of the churches of today are more after glorifying the flesh at the expense of the spirit. Lust of the flesh is... ...given to sexual desire ...given to pleasures ...given to satisfying all appetite

As God spoke to the Church in Thyatira (Revelation 2:18-22) many of our churches have allowed Jezebel (spirit of Jezebel) in their midst causing lust, inordinate affections, promiscuousness within the church. Members, workers and ministers alike are guilty of sexual lust within the wall of the church. This is not the church Christ is coming for!

The Church is to welcome all (people) regardless of their personality but the church is not to be at home with all. In IITimothy 2:19 "Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, let everyone that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity"

The church must be clear about God's foundation and by the word, prayers, and discipleship makes all men who come to conform. The church is not to conform to the world.

It is time for us to arise for the purging of the church so that after we have laboured we will not be found wanting.

Declaration

Oh Lord, I declare for your purging, purge me of every lust of the eyes. Holy Spirit help me not to conform to the world in Jesus name.
