A New Speech and Attitude

After a great release of God's power in a program or an encounter one of the things the devil tries to do is to test your faith. He will test your vision, speech, and attitude.

Hebrews 4:1-2

Let us, therefore fear, lest, a promise being left us of entering into his rest, any of you should seem to come short of it. For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it.

One of the ways to know if the word you heard has mixed with faith in you is through your speech and attitude. If this two do not change after a great encounter then the program did not profit you. In this season, of a new year our speech and attitude must change.

The difference between a champion and a looser is their speech and attitude

In I Samuel 17:1-40, Goliath spoke as s champion, he was confident, while Saul was low in confidence.

David heard the bragging of Goliath and he m spoke with confidence as a champion to face Goliath. His attitude was different from every other person's based on his understanding of the power available to him.

You can not have an encounter with God or experience an outpouring of God's power and still be speaking low of yourself or speaking like a failure. Your speech and attitude in dealing with that situation have to change.

Mathew 12:37 For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words, thou shalt be condemned.

What should be your attitude after a great encounter?

1. Keep on with the momentum. I Kings 13:1-18.

2. Settle with the spoken word. Keep rehearsing and saying it to yourself. Isaiah 48:6.

3. Sing his praise and worship him. Psalm 150

4. Don't give room for the Devil in your mind to attack him with the word of God, and praises of God.

5. Keep speaking positively.

As you do this you will maintain the flow of God's power in your life and continue to swim in a new level of glory.
