Genesis 3:10

And he said, I heard thy voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked; and I hid myself.

"...And I was afraid" was Adam's statement to God when God called out him after he and his wife Eve ate the forbidden fruit and they found themselves naked. Some moments before this incidence Adam and Eve were always walking with God, communing with Him in the Garden. The chemistry between them and God was charming. They enjoyed beautiful moments together until this very day that Adam said: "... and I was afraid". How could he be afraid of someone he had enjoyed beautiful moments with? Unfaithfulness (SIN).

When a man begins to be afraid of telling his wife his whereabouts unfaithfulness has set it. When a woman is afraid of leaving her phone in the living room when her husband is around unfaithfulness has set in.

What is unfaithfulness?

Not adhering to vows, allegiance, or duty.

In every relationship, there is allegiance and duty. Something that each party is expected to do or follow. In our case, God’s words and His commandments are the basis of our allegiance. We show unfaithfulness anytime we do the opposite of His word or commandments. Unfaithfulness is a SIN. God is ever faithful, he never fails in His duty to keep, protect, defend, multiply, empowers, lift, and bless. Deuteronomy 28:1-13.

I need you to check yourself today. Have you been afraid? Anytime fear grips you check immediately if you have been unfaithful in any way. Unfaithfulness breeds fear.

If you daily live in fear then the seed of the first Adam still resides in you. You need to connect to the second Adam- Jesus Christ who will input in you the seed of faithfulness (born of God).

Behold the man that lives in fear...he is an unfaithful man who has despise His creator:

1. He is afraid to pray.

2. He prays with no confidence that God will hear him.

3. He is always trying to hide from God's presence.

4. He is always hiding something.

5. He is never true to himself.

6. He cannot say the truth and he hides from it.

7. He tries to keep himself happy with a substance that eventually becomes an addiction.

8. He is depressed.

9. He is afraid of sleeping

10. He is afraid of death.

There is a way out of this- accept Jesus as your Lord and personal savior and allow him to implant the seed of God in you that will make you faithful.

God bless you.
