Are you in the number?

Revelation 7:4,9Kjv

4. And I heard the number of them which were sealed: and there were sealed a hundred and forty and four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel.

9. After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands;

There is a number of people who are already sealed for heaven, the scripture confirms 144,000 people of all the 12 tribes of Israel have been sealed to be heaven. However, apart from this number that has been sealed there is another number of people who are going to stand before the throne of God clothed in white apparel, with psalms in their hands.

Are you going to be in the number? People that are saved by grace.

This is a question we need to ask ourselves at this point in time. It is also a question we need to keep asking ourselves as we journey in life.

144,000 people are confirmed for heaven, are you confirmed?

Titus 2:11 For the grace of God that bringeth salvation has appeared to all men.

Everyone has the opportunity to be in the number- black, white, king, president, follower, rich, poor, literate, illiterate, young, old, children, idol worshippers, Ogoni, of any religion if they accept Jesus Christ the grace that appeared to all men.

What must I do to be in the number?

1. Repent of your sins.

Act 8:22, Repent therefore of this thy wickedness, and pray God, if perhaps the thought of thine heart may be forgiven thee. Act 3:19 Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord.

2. Accept the grace of God -JESUS CHRIST as your lord and saviour.

Titus 2:11, For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,

Hebrews 9:26, For then must he often have suffered since the foundation of the world: but now once in the end of the world hath he appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself.

3. Leverage on the grace to work out your salvation with fear and trembling Philippians 2:12.

Romans 5:2, By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.

I Corinthians 15:10 But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.

4. Leverage on the grace to live a holy life.

I Peter1:16, Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.

II Corinthians 12:9 And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

Holiness is not negotiable and it is grace that will help us to attain it.

5. Daily pursuit of God through fellowship (personal devotion).

God will always ensure his friend make it to heaven. Just as he did for Enoch and David. You become God's friend fellowship with God.

Philipians 3:10 That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death;

6. Baptism of the Holy Spirit (release yourself to the full control of the Holy Spirit). We are as sheep in the midst of wolves we need power to stand. It is with this power that we can do God's will to please him. Act 1:8, Titus 3:5.

7. Daily expecting the second coming of Christ.

II Corinthians 5:2 For in this we groan, earnestly desiring to be clothed upon with our house which is from heaven: This is the antidote for not getting carried away with the world to forget that this world is not our own.

8. Daily asking for mercy to obtain mercy of God.

Mercy is the ultimate source of refuge for us because the path to heaven is narrow and our righteousness is like a filthy garment before him.

9. Keep enduring till the end.

Mathew 10:22 And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved.

The journey to be in the number is a marathon race and not a sprint, you must be ready to endure to finish the race with your light still burning.

If you set your mind and release yourself to the grace of God, the mercy of God will keep you till the end.

Are you in the number?

What are you waiting for? Take the first step by repenting and surrendering your life to Jesus Christ and accepting Him as your Lord and personal saviour.
