Avoiding The Snare Of The Fowler

Writer's picture: Ayoola BabalolaAyoola Babalola

Psalm 124:7

Our soul is escaped as a bird out of the snare of the fowlers: the snare is broken, and we are escaped.

A Fowler is a professional birdcatcher. In the days previous to firearms, birds were captured with nets spread on the ground, in traps and snares.

The Devil is a Fowler by his works- to steal, to kill and to destroy (John 10:10).

His strategy is always to set spiritual fowler's over the life and destiny of men.

Fowler's are everywhere carrying out the assignment of the chief Fowler. Every man whether believer or unbeliever is a focal point for the Fowler.

Fowler's are in spirit (demons) form and human form. God wants to deal with the fowler's over your life and family, but you have the responsibility to engage in prayer to cut the chase.

How do I avoid the snare of the Fowler?

1. Stay clear of sin. Sin allows easy access by the Fowler. Proverbs 14:34.

2. Put on the garment of righteousness. Be Holy as God is Holy. Proverbs 14:34, Proverbs 12:28.

3. Be a carrier of God's presence. This can be achieved through establishing a relationship with God.

4. Never allow the fire to stop burning on your altar.

5. Be a prayer champion. Always praying in the holy ghost.

6. Be watchful, and vigilant.

My prayer for you today:

Psalm 91:2-3

I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust. Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the FOWLER, and the noisome pestilence.

This shall be your portion in Jesus name.
