Mathew 11:28
Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
The cross in our days is not the small cross that some use with a necklace or the big cross placed at the altar in the church. The cross still remains that old rugged cross upon which Jesus was crucified. It is still the same!
Come to the cross means coming to Jesus. What makes the cross significant is the man of the cross. Jesus is the man of the cross. The cross is a spiritual connection to Redemption, forgiveness, healing, miraculous, new beginning, open heaven, and salvation.
How do you come to the cross? Come to the cross as:
◆ Mary Magdalen - with a sorrowful heart and tears helpless before the cross. Luke 7:38 - 47.
◆ Cornelius - with a thirsty and hungry heart. Act 10:25 - 31.
◆ The thief at the right hand of Christ on the cross- with a sincere request. Luke 23:39 - 43.
◆ Nicodemus - Come empty, forgetting what you have and position. John 3:1-21.
◆ The woman with the issue of blood - with faith, passion and trust. Luke 8:43-48.
Come to the cross and you will encounter the man of the cross- JESUS!
