Jesus personality is a wonder to behold, people have seen Him in a different light. Today, we will look at the discoveries of a man that had a lifelong encounter with Jesus. His encounters are not fully captured in the  Bible but the few captured reveals a lot about the person of Jesus Christ. Peter discovered Jesus Luke 5:8-9 When Simon Peter saw it, he fell down at Jesus' knees, saying, Depart from me; for I am a sinful man, O Lord. For he was astonished, and all that were with him, at the draught of the fishes which they had taken: Peter was a professional fisherman who became a follower, then a disciple, a friend,  and afterwards an apostle. Through a series of encounters, he grew from nothing to become the chief of all apostle and the leader of the Church.  Discoveries from Peters encounter with Jesus:

Luke 5:3-11 Encounter  1. Jesus can partner with anybody so far you are ready to submit to Him. Luke 5:3 2. Jesus can choose anyone to partner with. Luke 5:2-3. 3. Jesus is interested in his partner's success. He wants them to do well in whatever they are doing. Luke 5:4 4. You cannot partner with Jesus and be in want. Luke 5:4-5. 5. Jesus is incredibly full of wonder that he does what is beyond comprehension. Peter could not phantom it that he threw himself naked and worship Jesus. Luke 5:8-9. 6. Jesus is not to be argued with, He is ahead of every form of knowledge and wisdom. Forget your knowledge when dealing with Him, just obey. Luke 5:4-5. Mathew 16:13-23 Encounter  In this scripture Peter had two diverse encounters with Jesus: Mathew 16:16-17, 22-23. And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God. And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.  22 Then Peter took him, and began to rebuke him, saying, Be it far from thee, Lord: this shall not be unto thee. 23 But he turned, and said unto Peter, Get thee behind me, Satan: thou art an offence unto me: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but those that be of men. 1. Jesus is always interested in hearing from you. He always wants to have a conversation with you.  2. Jesus is quick to commend you when you are right. He commends you in a manner that you feel important and trusted.  3. Jesus is also quick to rebuke when you get it wrong. He rebukes sharply for you to make amend immediately.  4. You cannot please Jesus if you are not in Spirit. You will always displeased Him when you operate in the flesh.  5. In the flesh, your perception of Jesus will always be wrong. That is why spiritual things are not understood by people that are still in the flesh. I Corinthians 2:14. 6. Jesus will be on your side once you remain in the Spirit.  Discover Jesus today as you get closer to him in fellowship, communion and commitment.  God bless you.
