When Jesus comes to any scene or situation the atmosphere must change. There is no situation beyond his intervention, His presence disperses fear, sorrow and darkness.

The Widow of Nain's encounter Luke 7:11-16

Luke 7:13-14

And when the Lord saw her, he had compassion on her, and said unto her, Weep not. And he came and touched the bier: and they that bare him stood still. And he said, Young man, I say unto thee, Arise.

The following are the discoveries in this encounter:

1. Jesus is so compassionate, he always expresses his compassion.

2. You can not meet with Jesus and your weeping and sorrow continue.

3. Jesus can reverse the irreversible.  The Widow and every one with her were weeping and in sorrow because to them it was an irreversible situation.

4. Jesus can change a sorrowful situation to a joyous situation.

5. Death has no power over Jesus. Death always obeys Jesus.

Lazarus encounter John 11:1-45

John 11:43-44

And when he thus had spoken, he cried with a loud voice, Lazarus, come forth. And he that was dead came forth, bound hand and foot with graveclothes: and his face was bound about with a napkin. Jesus saith unto them, Loose him and let him go.

The encounter of Lazarus was an encounter shared with Martha and Mary.  They were both parts of the encounter.

1. Jesus is not moved by emotions He is moved by the will of the father. It doesn't matter how much prayer you prayed He will not be moved unless it is the will of the father. (Always seek to pray His will).

2. Jesus is all-knowing. He knows beyond what is revealed to Him. This is the reason He speaks with authority.

3. Jesus is grieved anytime we don't see what he is saying. He groans when we demonstrate a lack of faith.

4. Jesus is never late. Lateness is to man, Jesus is always on time. His ways are not our ways.

5. You can limit Jesus if you don't permit Him. Jesus asking them to remove the stone is seeking their permission. Revelation 3:20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come into him, and will sup with him, and he with me.

6. Jesus has power over death. He has the power to release any captive of death. Death is not irreversible when it comes to Jesus, it does not matter how long it has struck.

7. Jesus is the resurrection and life. John 11:25.

Friends, you need to discover Jesus and see Him in the light of the picture painted above. Is there a situation that appears irreversible in your life? connect to the resurrection and life today and the situation will be reversed in Jesus name.
