What is Open heaven?

Isaiah 64:1 Oh that thou wouldest rend the heavens, that thou wouldest come down, that the mountains might flow down at thy presence,

Open heaven was well demonstrated by Jesus Christ when he was baptized by John the Baptist.

Mark 1:9-10

And it came to pass in those days, that Jesus came from Nazareth of Galilee, and was baptized of John in Jordan. And straightway coming up out of the water, he saw the heavens opened, and the Spirit like a dove descending upon him:

Heaven is known as the abode of God. If it is the abode of God the Almighty, then it is a place of power, blessing and all possibilities.

Open heaven is the heaven (Supernatural) connecting with the earth (natural).

Open heaven is God's ability working in man and for man. It can also be said to be God's approval of a man.

One major thing that will hinder open heaven over life is SIN.

Isaiah 59:1-3 Behold, the Lord's hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear: But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear. For your hands are defiled with blood, and your fingers with iniquity; your lips have spoken lies, your tongue hath muttered perverseness.

SIN makes a man operate under a closed heaven. If you deal with the subject of SIN in your life, you will get heaven's approval. Just like Jesus Christ when God gave approval of him the heaven open over Him.

What happens when heaven is opened?

1. The impossibility becomes possible.

II kings 7:1-2 Then Elisha said, Hear ye the word of the Lord; Thus saith the Lord, Tomorrow about this time shall a measure of fine flour be sold for a shekel, and two measures of barley for a shekel, in the gate of Samaria. Then a lord on whose hand the king leaned answered the man of God, and said, Behold, if the Lord would make windows in heaven, might this thing be? And he said, Behold, thou shalt see it with thine eyes, but shalt not eat thereof.

Prayer point: Father, let the heavens be opened over my life for the impossibilities to become possible.

2. The hopeless become hopeful and satisfied.

I kings 17:12-14 And she said, As the Lord thy God liveth, I have not a cake, but an handful of meal in a barrel, and a little oil in a cruse: and, behold, I am gathering two sticks, that I may go in and dress it for me and my son, that we may eat it, and die.And Elijah said unto her, Fear not; go and do as thou hast said: but make me thereof a little cake first, and bring it unto me, and after make for thee and for thy son.For thus saith the Lord God of Israel, The barrel of meal shall not waste, neither shall the cruse of oil fail, until the day that the Lord sendeth rain upon the earth.

The woman was hopeless but the Supernatural connected with her household that the barrel of the meal was never empty and the cruise of oil always filled with oil. A woman who was condemned to die became hopeful and satisfied.

Prayer point: Father, turnaround every area of my hopelessness in Jesus name.

3. The lack receives abundance.

Luke 5:1-9

Peter was in lack, they laboured all night and caught nothing but got a Supernatural connection after he supported Jesus ministry. The heavens opened over him and he caught a boat sinking catch.

Prayer point: Father, let the heavens be opened over me to turn my lack around. By the open heaven let there be an overflowing blessing of God upon me and my household in Jesus name.

4. The barren becomes a joyful mother.

Psalm 113:9 He maketh the barren woman to keep house, and to be a joyful mother of children. Praise ye the Lord.

After Hannah prayed in I Samuel 1:10-18, heaven opened over her and she became a joyful mother.

Prayer point: Father, by the open heavens let my bareness cease, cause me to rejoice.

God want to cause heaven to open but you must deal with the subject of sin. Confess and repent of your sin so that your day of refreshing may come from the lord (open heaven).

Act 3:19 Repent ye therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord.

Friends, God's blessing is available to connect to heaven today.
