Perfect means having all the required or desirable elements, qualities, or characteristics; as good as it is possible to be.absolute; complete (used for emphasis).
A Gift is a thing given willingly to someone without payment; a present.
A perfect Gift, therefore, is A thing that is given to a person without payment that can satisfy all the desires and expectations of the person. When the gift given is all good to every point of expectation.
What kind of gift can be that good?
Every day the devil presents us with a gift just as he did to Jesus on the mountain where he tempted him.
Mathew 4:8Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them; And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me.
What the devil offered Jesus was a gift requiring him to do something simple to obtain something big. Every time the devil offers you a gift he always requests for you to do something that appears insignificant but with great spiritual implications.
What has the devil offered you?
1. Greatness
2. Wealth
3. Prosperity
4. Fame
5. Power etc.
All these are very good gifts but do they come perfect?
What will be a perfect gift for you? A gift that is complete - satisfying your Body, Soul and Spirit. Man is a tripartite personality any gift that would be perfect for man must satisfy the expectation of the three parts.
I Thessalonians 5:23 And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
The above scripture confirms our tripartite nature. The body is significant on this earth, while the soul and spirit are significant in eternity (an eternity of Hell or Heaven).
Will the gift the devil offers satisfy the expectation of your body, soul and spirit?
Mathew 16:26 For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?
What the devil offers only sustains our body and makes us gain the world, it does not secure our end in eternal life in heaven but eternal damnation in hell. A gift that will give your soul eternal life is the most perfect gift a man can get and that is what we have in Jesus Christ.

Jesus is the perfect gift that God offers us. Who is Jesus? God in human form. So God gave us himself. Christmas is all about celebrating the coming of God to humanity. We only need to do one simple thing to obtain this special gift.
1. Believe
John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
2. Confess
Romans 10:10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
3. Receive
John 1:12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:
