Mathew 24:32-33 & 37
Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh: So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.
But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
In the book of Mathew 24 Jesus clearly state all that will happen that will point to us that the end is near. Can I remind you about what Jesus said...
1. False Christ will arise claiming they are Christ to deceive many.
2. Wars and rumours of war.
3. Famines, Pestilence and earthquake in diverse places.
4. Trial and killings of believers
5. Offence and betrayal will rule
6. False prophets will rise to deceive many.
7. Iniquity shall abound and the love of many shall wax cold.
8. The gospel will be preached in all the world for a withess to the nation's.
9. Tribulation every where.
Looking at all the things that Christ has said will happened you will agree with me that the end is near. Many have said that the gospel has not reached the whole world that once this happens Jesus will come. How do we proof this with the advent of technology and the breakthrough of churches and missionaries in red spots nation's. It is clear that the nation's have been reached. Jesus did not say all persons in the world must hear the gospel, he only said the gospel must be preached throughout the world for a witness to nations.
Friends, we are in perilous times. The Pandemic situation we are in the world is one of those tribulations of the end. Unthinkable! the entire world on a lockdown by a virus. World powers shaken to the foundation by a virus. The end is near, we must take heed. It is a time to get close to God and amend our ways. We cannot continue to do the same thing we have been doing there must be a change. Change in every area so that we are not found wanting...
1. Rededicate/surrender your life to Jesus Christ.
2. Examine your heart and carry out a thorough cleansing by the blood of Jesus Christ. Isaiah 1:18
3. Keep your heart with all diligence.
4. Let your thoughts be pure, good, righteous etc. Philippians 4:8.
5. By the help of the holy spirit set a guard on yourself that you will not derail. Luke 21:34, I Corinthians 10:12.
6. Live every day expecting His coming. Let it show in your communication and relationship that you are expectant. Just like a pregnant woman.
7. Be intimate with God i.e have a relationship with Jesus Christ (this is via the Holy Spirit)
8. Always seek His mercy. When all fails mercy cannot fail. This is the key that we need so that we are not found wanting at the end. Jude 1:21.
May the Lord bless you.
